Fire Sprinkler Designer

The successful candidate should:

Have ability to create and revise drawings and construction documents from computations, sketches and/or verbal instructions using AutoCAD software and utilizing company CAD standards.
Have experience with physical layouts and elevations, bills of material, schematics, schedules, and site analysis.
Have experience in a diverse range of project types: residential, commercial, healthcare, industrial and public sectors.
Possess self confidence with ability to promote his or her ideas and ability to lead others in their implementation.
Familiarity with architectural and structural drawings and building code requirements for fire protection.
Be able to discuss technical aspects of design with review agencies and facilitate review progress and comment resolution.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in mechanical discipline required and BS degree preferred; NICET or EIT/PE a plus.
Experience with A&E firm or consulting engineering firm.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good math skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Will consider construction or related field experience.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
