Project Engineer

The successful candidate should:

Have experience in overall management, planning, design, scheduling, and analysis of architectural/industrial projects.
Be flexible and willing to change course as project, market and client conditions dictate and find solutions to a wide range of issues in a fast-paced, high volume project that are sensitive to cost and schedule.
Be proficient with AutoCAD and have knowledge of building code requirements.
Able to multi-task in a rigorous scheduling environment, have knowledge of standard builder's hardware and comprehend architectural and construction drawings/schedules.
Have ability to deal with wide range of clients, agencies, consultants, and team representatives and provide overall strategy and technical solution development for project needs and challenges.

Qualifications:

BS required with a Professional Engineering license or Engineer in Training registration; construction management experience, hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft office.
Experience with A&E firm or engineering firm.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good math skills and excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Will consider construction or related field experience.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
